Hello, my name is Yuna Ashley Ko, and I am studying Data Science at Michigan State University. I chose this major because I am fascinated by discovering and analyzing mathematical patterns in data. In particular, I am interested in how data analysis can be used to support decision-making in various real-world situations. I am especially curious about applying data science through projects and collaborative work.

Currently, I am developing practical data-handling skills by learning programming tools such as Python, while also strengthening my ability to analyze structured data through courses in calculus and statistics. I believe that data plays an essential role in many fields, including sports, science, and economics.

During my undergraduate studies, I hope to broaden my foundational knowledge by taking a variety of courses beyond programming and mathematics, and to expand the fields in which I can apply data-driven approaches.
